Easter 2007

Main concert (thanks to Ele for the photos)

Easter 2007 post-concert party - Charles Siem bow

Charles Siem takes his bow after the Mendelssohn violin concerto.

Easter 2007 post-concert party - Les Mis

During Les Miserables. It'll probably be a while before you see saxophones in UCPO again.

Easter 2007 post-concert party - Phil conducting

Phil Howie conducting something or other (anyone??).

Easter 2007 post-concert party - Sword fight 1

The sword fight! During Pirates of the Caribbean, Mark came on stage and challenged Emily for the podium. Some of the orchestra were wearing eye patches. Not sure how they read their music.

Easter 2007 post-concert party - Sword fight 2

Mark forced Ems off the stage, to take the podium for himself (I'm glad it was her and not me).

Easter 2007 post-concert party - Pirates bow

But in the end, they agreed (uneasily) to share the stage for a bow.

Post-concert party on the Sidgwick site (thanks to Chrissie for the photos)

As you will see, this was the party after the pirates concert. We didn't have far to stagger from West Road.

Easter 2007 post-concert party - Harriet dressing Alison up in the pirate hat

Alison wasn't too keen on giving back the pirate hat, but it seems that Harriet was determined to have it.

Easter 2007 post-concert party - all

Easter 2007 post-concert party - Mark attacking Harriet

Something possessed Mark to attack everyone that night (must have been that sword fight that fired him up). So one by one, we took him on. I had a go. Harriet has a go.

Easter 2007 post-concert party - Mark attacking James

James has a go. Even Ele had a go. But alas, as always, Mark manages to prevail. So . . .

Easter 2007 post-concert party - Revenge on Mark

. . . we all conspired to catch Mark, hold him down . . .

Easter 2007 post-concert party - More revenge on Mark

. . . and force-feed him cheap whisky, which for Mark is a fate worse than death.

Easter 2007 post-concert party - Pyramid

And here's the first of the human pyramids. But definitely not the last.
